 Spacious 3 level apartment within walking distance  to the riverside and South Bank attractions  –   London Eye,  Globe and other 3 theatres ,Westminster  Bridge, Tate  Modern and 3 tube stations.


This spacious home is spread over 3 floors on  The Cut, also known as  Southwark High St. You can walk across Waterloo, Jubilee and Westminster Bridges (or short bus ride) to  Big Ben, Westminster Abbey , the Houses of Parliament  , the London Eye and the Tate Modern gallery.  This is a local area where “real” people live , with cafes, small shops , open markets,  pubs and restaurants, as well as the large Waterloo shopping centre nearby , with all supermarkets and shops.

Southwark tube stop ( 3 minutes) and Lambeth North tube stop (5 minutes) are nearby , with Waterloo main line and tube station 5 minutes also. And don’t forget the river buses – great fun.   Central location close tubes and buses and walking distance to many places. Good coffee shop opposite !

The apartment

The  walk – up apartment is on 3 levels, 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors (top),  (2nd, 3rd and 4th N. America and rest of Europe)  and overlooks  the small street ,  The Cut.   To the rear is a small raised  patio with seating and a table for 4 and BBQ.(lockable door to patio)  Short set of stairs from private entrance door to :

Ist  floor :  this  has the sitting /dining room with comfortable sofa and armchairs,  dining table for 6 ,and  the chic modern kitchen with all machines. Bathroom 1  is on this floor (with bathtub and shower over, WC and basin).   The washer/drier is in this bathroom also.

Bedrooms  and bathrooms

 Bedrooms 2 and 3 are on the 2nd floor using the bathroom on the Ist floor normally.  ( one queen double the other a standard double). The master bedroom with king double and bathroom 2 on the 3rd floor (top). 

All 3  bedrooms are light and sunny bedrooms floors, all with wooden flooring and built- in storage .  On the 2nd floor, one bedroom has a queen.   The master bedroom has a  king sized double  and  separate bathroom with walk – in shower .  Guests using the 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor  can use either the Ist floor bathroom or 3rd floor .

Baby cot available on request.  (no cot linen)   Note 1 set stairs to the apartment and 3 sets stairs within apartment. Portable fans . Not suitable for those with more than minor  mobility problems. ( note Ist floor with sitting/dining area and kitchen has  a bathroom on this floor ).
