Booking procedure 2023
FIRST contact us to check AVAILABILITY with your dates , numbers and any particular requirements. (area, lift required ?, budget etc) . IT IS MUCH QUICKER to ask us what properties ARE free your chosen dates and we reply by return.
We will suggest available properties that suit your dates and other requirements, confirm with you the full rental rate and deposit details before taking your booking. We can then hold a property provisionally for you while you complete the booking process. Please then fill in the booking form, and send it to us. Once received we will advise the link to our secure credit card payment page.
NOTE RATES ARE FULLY INCLUSIVE : No Booking Fee. No cleaning fee..No “service ” or “administration” fee. NOTE rates on web pages are “FROM” the lowest rate ,normally January and February. However stays of more than 2 weeks are often reduced especially low season.
The deposit required is normally one third of the total payment and is non-refundable** For full cancellation /refund details and information about Cancellation Insurance see under How to Book/Cancellation. **
If the start of your stay is less than 6 weeks away, then full payment is due.
Payment can be made by:
- Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard no charge). Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro no charge.) After filling in and submitting the booking form we send you a link to our secure payment page ( OR we can telephone you for card details. For the latter please email us with suitable time YOUR time and the best number to call)
- Bank transfer / wire (please ask us for details, but please note that our bank charges £15 for non sterling wire transfers ) We advise credit card payment for your own and our security.
Confirmation
On receipt of your deposit we will send you a confirmation of your booking and a receipt and invoice. Arrival details and final key instructions will be sent after receipt of your final payment. Note we use World Pay for card processing and provide you with a secure link when you are booking. World Pay, now based in USA (formerly a UK company) ,are one of the world’s largest card processing companies.
Security deposit
We require a security deposit of £250 for short stays (we normally take these by credit card ). For longer stays of 4 weeks or more , or large properties, we may require a larger security deposit . This will always be by pre arrangement with you before you book. This is to cover any damage/breakage that may occur or extra cleaning that may be necessary, and for any telephone charges. It means that the owner can keep rates low while keeping the property up to standard, rather than charge higher rates to everyone for the occasional problem. Security deposits are refunded 10 days after departure.
Cancellation Insurance
We strongly advise all travellers to take out cancellation insurance, as unforeseen circumstances may make it necessary for you to cancel your trip. This will save you from financial loss.
